The Mission of the Cheat Lake Rotary Club is to build meaningful friendships and build members up while we serve our local community as well as the world at large. We affect real change with real people interactions. We believe there is value by meeting in person each week, serving locally through hands-on projects as well as monetary donations and serving internationally with human development projects

Mark your calendars for the event that started it all, the Kickoff Event of the Cheat Lake Uncorked Series, the 2nd Annual Uncorked At The Garden on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
The 2nd Annual Uncorked At The Garden festival features an evening with tastings and pairings with our exclusive wine partner, Caymus Vineyards, an amazing selection of Heavy Hors d’Oeuvres, cheeses and desserts, and musical entertainment during the height of Springtime Blooms at the WV Botanic Garden. Stroll the garden, revel in the thousands of spring-blooming bulbs and treat your taste buds to the finest winery Napa Valley has to offer.
The second event in the Cheat Lake Uncorked Series, Uncorked At Tuscan, will be held at the beautiful Tuscan Ridge Venue on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Uncorked at Tuscan will feature an evening with tastings and pairings with our exclusive Tequila partner, Patrón, an amazing selection of Heavy Hors d’Oeuvres, cheeses and desserts, and musical entertainment at Cheat Lake’s newest wedding and event venue, Tuscan Ridge. An evening of fun, fellowship, games, and an opportunity to taste the many blends of Patrón, including an exclusive barrel pick blend from Ashebrooke.
Third up in our Cheat Lake Uncorked Series, Uncorked At The Lake, will be held on Tuesday, Sept 24, 2024.
Uncorked at the Lake will an evening with tastings of some of the finest and rarest Bourbons Morgantown has ever seen, pairings with a top notch menu of meats, cheeses and desserts, and musical entertainment as summer winds down on the lake at the The Lakehouse Restaurant right on Cheat Lake. As the sun sets on an amazing late summer evening at the lake, you will have the exclusive opportunity to taste some of the best bourbons we can find.
